You can print these stickers directly onto standard format 8-1/2 x 11 inch sticker paper. Or you can print to regular paper and use tape, paste or bulletin board pins. Be creative! The most important thing is that the message be seen by as many people as possible.

Why "Peace Please"?

I feel it is important that we preserve our human dignity and our planet. War is contrary to this goal. However people feel about the events of 2001-09-11 (and the reactions following), I feel that they innately wish an end to these wars.

In addition, I want the message (“Peace Please”) to hold a ‘window’ open for the expression of a variety of opinions which might otherwise be suppressed by the forces sustaining the wars. If the wars change into something that many people do not want, they will know that they have avenues of peaceful dissent via which they can stop the war.

Personally, I see no justifiable purpose for war in our world of technologically advanced and hair-trigger dangerous weaponry. I do, however, recognize and respect that others’ responses may differ in how they deal with the wars.

Peace Please Bumper Stickers:

5 Up Bumper Stickers. Print from your computer & cut using scissors or a paper cutter (cheapest for small quantities). Or bring a master printout with full sheet copier labels to a local printer for printing & cutting (least work for large quantities; sometimes the printer will sell you the sticker paper). These are in PDF format; get Adobe’s latest free reader software from their website (there are versions for PCs, Macs and other operating systems).

Specialized Stickers: (for now, I’m removing the other stickers from this page)

Create Your Own Peace Please Stickers:

I used “Comic Sans MS” which is fairly common on PCs. Feel free to design and print your own signs, stickers, etc. I only ask that you use any compensation you receive for stickers only in the creation of more “Peace Please.” It is my intent that work for “Peace Please” be voluntary and for the greater good of humanity. Always give “Peace Please” away for free unless donations are offered so that the greatest number of people will have and display the message.

If You Can't Make Your Own:

I will mail at least two Peace Please stickers in every SASE (self-addressed stamped envelope) sent to: “DB Fanning, PO Box 128, Flagstaff, AZ 86002-0128.” I accept but do not require donations for my work (please write any checks to “D B Fanning” so my bank will handle them) and welcome having others create and spread their own "Peace" far and wide. These stickers are my gift to the world but the giving will travel further and last longer if the burden is shared.

Please let me know if you see any interesting sightings or uses of “Peace Please” or if you have any difficulties in working with these files. I am collecting photos of “Peace Please” sightings which I will share with others at some point.

Apologia:

I am aware that some of you have had difficulties accessing this website and the files attached to it. As of this date, those problems have been fixed.
